Not bad, not great and not cheap. The four of us ordered from the Happy Hour menu and I paid $120+ for four beers, two appetizers, and four small entrees, not exactly a great deal in my book.
The place is nice and the service top-notch, but why could we not order from the happy hour menu while sitting on the patio or the dining room? We sat on the patio because it was a nice day, but were told that we had to get up and go sit at a high-top in the bar, very uncomfortable for this combat disabled veteran, or we would have to choose from the very overpriced regular menu.
The Kung Pao Cauliflower ($9.50) was tasty, but way overpriced for some cauliflower, and the Brussel Sprouts ($8) tasted like burnt shit, not impressed.
I ordered the happy hour Cheeseburger ($12) with bacon ($2) and was surprised to see how small it was. I hope they do not serve a tiny thing like that for the full menu price of $16.50. It was pretty good, but we were not asked how we wanted our burgers cooked. They came out between medium-rare and medium, a bit too bloody for my taste and making us susceptible to e-coli poisoning.
I think $75 would have been a much more appropriate price for the food and drinks we ordered, not $100 as we were charged, when taking into account that we ordered from the happy hour menu.
I do not think I would make this a regular stop for a meal based on our experience, happy hour or not. Their regular menu pricing reflects the enormous amount of money they had to spend on the building and decor. $26 for meatloaf and mashed potatoes, really? I love meatloaf and mashed potatoes, buy I could feed 8-10 people a great meatloaf and mashed potatoes for $26. As Joe Biden would say, 'c'mon man'.
