Ally has pretty good interest rates on savings accounts, but they have no clue about customer service.
We had been a customer for several years with substantial funds in our account, but when I saw an advertisement for an Ally credit card with attractive terms and conditions they told me I was not eligible!
I have perfect credit, but I was told that I had to receive an 'invitation' in order to get a credit card and that I was not eligible to get an invitation.
I told them that I was going to take all of our money out of Ally and move it to a bank where we would be appreciated, they did not flinch ... so I did!
Ally is pitiful and I recommend that you avoid banking with them. We moved our money to CapitalOne where we are appreciated and have a credit card with the terms and conditions we wanted in the first place,
Ally is a joke!
