Lisbon is a beautiful centuries old city which reminds me very much of one of my favorite cities in the United States, San Francisco. The Bairro Alto district is very central and just a short walk away from the lovely and bustling Chiada district, a good place to stay while exploring 'Lisboa' and all of its wonders.

PROS

We found the property easily and reception made check-in and parking a no-hassle experience
The apartment is very central with easy access to numerous restaurants, a small market, parking, and tram/bus/metro stops.
The 2-bedroom apartment was spacious with two very comfy queen beds, plenty of closet space, and a small balcony in each bedroom
The sole bathroom was large and clean with two sinks and a large bath/shower combo with good water pressure and plenty of hot water ... HOOAH!
The living area was spacious with a kitchen (stove/hob, oven, sink, large fridge/freezer, plates/silverware/pots/pans/etc.) and living room with a sofa, dining table, and TV with cable channels
There was a small balcony in the second floor apartment living area with a view of the street below and a large window, allowing loads of air and light inside
Each room had air conditioning/heating units with remote controls to easily regulate temperature
The staff were very nice, professional, and helpful during our entire stay - the manager even waived the pet deposit as our dog was only staying one night before going to the hospital for emergency cancer surgery

CONS

The closest parking lot was 350 meters away and cost an additional €15 per day, increasing the cost of the stay from €130 to €145 per day, a 12% increase
The apartment was on the second floor (third floor in the US) and there was no elevator in the building, a definite inconvenience

In a very central location and near our hotel, Lisbon Colours, as well as Praça Luís de Camões plaza where you can find parking and bus/tram stops, leading all over Lisbon, you will find the Best Burger in Lisbon at A Cultura do Hambúrguer

The Potato Skins could have used a bit more of the garlic mayo sauce
The dessert prices were a tad high for the portion sizes

If visiting Belém for the 'original' pastel de nata at the historic Pastéis de Belém, a visit to the beautiful Jerónimos Monastery (Mosteiro dos Jerónimos), the nearby Padrão dos Descobrimentos monument, or the famous Belém Tower (Torre de Belém), both a national monument and World Heritage (UNESCO) site, the nearby Comptoir Parisien will make a great spot for lunch or dinner.

PROS

Seated and fed us at 15:30, having closed at 15:00, on Christmas Eve ... HOOAH!
Plenty of outdoor seating, which came in handy considering that Portugal implemented a requirement, just days before, for a negative COVID test result to eat inside restaurants over the Christmas and New Year holidays
The French Onion Soup (€6) was the best I have ever had in the US, France, you name it
My Sausage and Lentils (€15) was excellent and TOO BIGGA EAT ... MAMA MIA!
The sauces on the steaks au poivre and roquefort (€16 each) were both very tasty
The service was friendly, with one exception (below), and professional ... MERCI BEAUCOUP!
The prices were very fair for the portions and quality of the food

CONS

We were greeted, and I use that term very loosely, by a nasty little man at the entrance to the restaurant whom was trying to get rid of us so he could go home. Fortunately, the owner came along before we could leave and told him to serve us
The medium-well steaks we ordered arrived medium-rare despite my wife and son indicating 'no blood please'
